How was Vulgate Dogmas' set? And Helmskey?

Helmskey has a great vibe. And honestly, it was one of the worst set for Vukgate Dogmas. Well that's my honest opinion actually.

I heard from Whorehouse Butchery that one of the amps were not working, only had one monitor for vocals and shit.

Actually to put it simple, that place was never really meant for metal. Seriously.

DUH. As the sign says. KTV, Dangdut and blablablablablabla. No mention of metal.

The venue is fine. I have no problems with the cozy feeling. But the equipments didn't do justice to everyone.

Oh well. Mahligai Masam must try to get more professional equipment or the crowd and bands will get angsty.

Well tis really helps and we surely using the same equipment nxt week rite? if it is, then we shud get ready for another shitty feeling.

Just now I heard from travel words of mouth, the gig might get postponed to May or so.

Which means...

Yea WhoreHouseButchery have a big Kock up in that gig... Firstly my other guitarist having similar problems with the amp. Its giving a buzzing sound when he plays. The sound guys try to rectify it but after several CPR sessions on the amp. It fails & i have to share my amp with my guitarist. 2 inputs with one bloddy amp. I can hear my vol totally cut in half. To make matters worse. both of us cant hear what we are playing... N the sound is like one sided. left side is bass while the right side is both guitars. There are no monitors for the guitars n i know the only monitor they had is for the vocals (The funny thing, there is one computer monitor on stage dunno for what... Maybe for dangdut session haha) Cause even my drummer cant hear the guitars but can clearly hear the vocals. Gore vocals is the worst as the low frequencies dominaate the whole stage & sinks all other sounds until we all cannot hear anything.

Overall, its a bit disappointing performance as its our first gig but we just hack care & play through it all. A lot of out of timing cause we cant hear each other playing so i suggest those who are playing next week in the same place. Go check your equipments ^^ What a day to celebrate my bday in advance T.T

Oh gosh, not a very good birthday gift is it?

The equipments that day was really falling apart. I wouldn't be surprised if one of those equipments actually went up in smokes.

But it's ok NizamRamsesKaizer, Whore House Butchery is surely gonna have a hell of a time at Corefest. At least you're gonna get real monitors to back you up. And the lineup for that day is pretty heavy as well.

No Problem Comrade... But still im feeling disappointed that we cant perform that well in our first gig due to equipment failure. This would be my worst gig eversince i've started giging in 1998... I thought my performance at SMM combat medic course was worse but oh well... Look on the bright side
