Yes!It's been a while ever since this section was filled up. Basically just checking in to give ya'll a rundown on what's been happening in the Bhelliom camp so far for 2009.
After December's Taipei meltdown, the band took a much needed break to , rejuvenate ,revitalize and recharge our batteries for 2009. Couple of us did our year end vacations with the girlfriends and wives, some of us reveled in the festive spirit of Xmas and New year and there was also a new addition to the Bhelliom family. Yes!..Our bassist Joe has become a proud father of a beautiful baby girl this January. Our hearty congrats go out to him.
So after all the eating,boozing and lazing, we are finally back in action with a couple of tentative live shows.
First of all, the band was in Penang,Malaysia over the weekend of March the 21'st for our debut Malaysian appearance. The journey itself was a collective 20hr rotdown in a bus which took us straight to the city center. We were met there by the affable, ever-so-friendly Leon of Dissectomy. The gig itself was an interesting affair and we were pleased to have put on a good show for the Malaysian headbangers. We tucked in later that evening to a great meal of authentic Penang cuisine which turned into a 3hr discussion on who sucks in Metal nowadays.Hahaha.Controversial entries were thrown about but all in great fun and laughter. Kudos to Leon and Azhar for being great hosts.Till the next time guys ..m/
Right now, we are preparing for a series of local shows to finally have our Singapore leg of the Asian Decimation tour. A lot of people have been asking and wondering on why have we taken so long to do a local gig. Just to let you all know that there is no way we have forgotten our local friends. It was just about getting the right gig at the right time and we're pleased to announce the following appearances

We are also just about confirmed for another local show this Jun 6'th, alongside some of our mind-blasting(My russell peters tribute!) local bands. More details to be revealed ASAP.
These and definately more local and international shows should be coming our way for this year. We can't wait ..m/
We have also SLOWLY(Yes!!we're singapore's laziest band ) begun the wrtitng process for our 3'rd album. Bits and pieces are currently being jigsawed together as we speak and we hope to start recording by the 3'rd quarter of 2009.
